Dalai lama temple, main market area are 10-15 min walk from the hotel.
You can even get 2 wheeler rental just nearby so that you can explore the place at your convenience.
Overall a wonderful experience.
Note - We went in October so weather was pleasant but in case you visit in winter season you may need room heater which is charged extra (Rs. 400 per day)

The location of the property is just wonderful, dalai lama temple and main market is just 05 minute walk from the hotel, however 05 minute walk would feel like a 15 minutes walk due to the Hill roads. Food at the hotel is well within the normal rates.

5.It was a 10 minute walk to the main centre.A bit uphill ,but that's what a hill station is about.
A very nice quaint Japanese restaurant nearby serving good vegetable delicacies.
Overall a wonderful experience and kudos to the owner and his prompt staff.
